Tippecanoe County households can bring hazardous waste to the Household Hazardous Waste Disposal at the Transfer Station on North 9th Street. This service is free. Be sure all hazardouse waste is clearly labeled, in quantities of 5 gallons or less, and in a leak-proof container. Some auto repair stores will also accept small volumes of transmission fluid for free.
