PAINT - LATEX
Latex paint is non-toxic and is NOT accepted at the Household Hazardous Waste drop-off. To dispose of latex paint, simply let it dry solid and dispose of it with your regular trash. Clay kitty litter will help speed up the drying process. Hardware stores have a product called paint hardener at their paint counter. This is a powder that can be mixed in to paint and will solidify it quickly, and is useful when you have a large volume of paint to dry out.
